The City of San Ramon has invited The Concord Art Association members to show their work at the Lindsay Dirkx Gallery in October, 2023. This venue is a well-lit space capable of handling large pieces. There are also two display cases for small- to medium-sized 3D pieces. The gallery shares space with the San Ramon Community Center which holds receptions and meetings there.
You are invited to submit up to 4 pieces of art for display and sale in this juried show. The theme of the show is "California Dreamin'." All work should be original and of the highest quality.
2D pieces: minimum size: 20" x 20"; maximum size: 48" x 48", and not to exceed 20 pounds
3D pieces: not to exceed 24" tall by 16" deep and wide. Not to exceed 20 pounds weight
All 2D artwork must meet CAA’s framing guidelines. Please be aware that no glass will be permitted. Detailed framing instructions will be provided upon acceptance
No pieces may be removed by either artist or buyer before the art pick-up date of October 31, 2023
Submit images of your artwork via Jotform link below by September 29, 2023.
Images should be jpgs with resolution of 300dpi with 1200 pixels on the longest side
One piece per jpg file and show only the artwork without frame or mat
Label each image with your last name, the title of the piece, and price
Artwork will be selected based on the following criteria:
Art is original and of the highest quality in concept and execution
Art is framed per CAA framing guidelines
Art satisfies the theme: "California Dreamin'"
Capacity of display area is met
Friday, September 29: deadline to submit via Jotform
Monday, October 2: deliver and check in art, 10am - 1pm
Sunday, October 8: Artist reception, 1 - 3pm
Tuesday, October 31: pick up art, 10am - 1pm
Additional Notes: Any artwork sold during the show is subject to a 20% commission to The City of San Ramon. All Artists are responsible for handling their own sales. Sales will go directly to the artist.
Submit images of your artwork by September 24 via Jotform (Use link below). Pay the entry fee of $20 per piece through Jotform or check payable to Concord Art Association. Mail checks to P.O. Box 641, Concord, CA 94522-0641. Please note “San Ramon City Hall Gallery Show” in remarks.
