Submit your two-dimensional artwork to CAA's summer member show at Visit Concord. "Caught in the Moment" is the theme. A committee of CAA members will jury this show.

Whatever the subject matter, the “moment” could be your own response to something you saw or experienced, or catching a moment in time out in the world. Sometimes we paint from reference photographs which record a particular event in a fraction of a second. In abstract work, the moment for an artist could be a purely intuitive expression.  This is a broad theme that you can express with either representational or abstract work. Any media is welcome to this show...surprise us! Use your imagination to share your moments of creativity with art lovers.

 

You may submit up to two pieces for consideration. Entry fee is $10 per piece. 10% commission on sales payable to Concord Art Association. Fees and commissions help fund CAA's Teacher Grant and Scholarship programs.

Requirements

• Be a member of CAA. Join CAA

• Minimum framed size is 12" x 12", or 11" x 14". Maximum framed size is 16" x 20". Check with us on other sizes.

• Please no nudity or volatile subjects.

• Follow CAA framing guidelines. Work that doesn't meet the guidelines makes it difficult to hang and may not be accepted.

• Drop off and pick up artwork on scheduled dates. If you cannot do that, arrange for someone else to help out. Artwork cannot be stored at Visit Concord.

• Artist notifications: June 23

• Drop off: Tuesday, July 1, 11:30am to 1pm

• Reception: TBD

• Pick up: Wednesday, October 1, 11:30am to 1pm​
