CAA Rotating Gallery
The CAA Rotating Gallery is an opportunity for CAA Members to show their art in community locations at no charge to the artist. The artist is responsible for insurance coverage on their work.
How to Participate
Artwork is changed on a quarterly basis. It is the responsibility of the artist to change their own work.
A spreadsheet is created and sent to all the artists on the Rotating Gallery list two weeks before the change takes place. CAA attempts to ensure that all artists have an opportunity to show their work at least twice during the year. Information regarding the location is included on the spreadsheet, such as address, contact person, size, and number of pieces of art.
A template for CAA Rotating Gallery wall labels is sent to the artists to be used for these shows. Many locations allow museum putty to secure these labels. If an artist chooses, they can also post an informational sheet about their artwork and/or include business cards.
The artist removing their work needs to contact the next artist on the spreadsheet once they have picked up their artwork. This can be done by phone call, e-mail, or text message.
Display 2D work using the CAA framing standards (note: 3D work can be shown in the Concord Library location only). Once the work is installed, each artist sends a photo and/or a message letting the co-chair know that the display is available to be viewed.
CAA requests a 10% donation from any sales that result from showing work in the Rotating Gallery.
