How to Participate

Make 4 ATCs under the theme listed above and mail them by the due date. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). Place 2 first-class stamps on your SASE to cover costs of postage. The week after the due date you will receive CAA members' ATC trades in the mail.

What are ATCs?

CAA members are invited to participate in a bi-monthly Artist Trading Card (ATC) exchange by mail. ATCs are 2½" by 3½" art cards, made to be traded. Any media can be used on ATCs as long as the cards are thin enough to fit inside a standard plastic trading-card sleeve. Cards can be a series of closely identical artworks or each card can be unique. The backs of ATCs often have information about the artist. You can make extras as part of the series, to keep or to trade with other artists.

Check out Sheila's creative ideas for displaying ATCs at the CAA blog.
