Concord Art Association is proud to present Colors of Spring Fine Art Show and Art & Craft Sale during the annual Concord Historical Society Spring Tea weekend.
CAA will host two events for members only this weekend: a fine art show and an art & craft sale.

Submit up to six pieces of two-dimensional art for only $9 per piece to be displayed during the two-day Fine Art Show, and/or,
-
Rent an 8' x 8' space for Saturday and Sunday for $50 for the Art & Craft Sale. Each vendor must rent their own space this year. No one day rentals.

Fine Art Show Submissions due by May 20
Gallery Show Timeline
May 20 - Deadline to submit via JotForm
May 24 - Notification of acceptance
Friday, May 31 - Deliver and check-in art 4:30 - 6:00pm
Sunday, June 2 - Pick up art 4 - 5pm

Submit images of your artwork by May 20 at the link below. Pay entry fee of $9 per piece via JotForm or by check payable to Concord Art Association. Mail checks to P.O. Box 641, Concord, CA 94522-0641. Please note “Fine Art Show” in remarks on your check.

Selection Criteria

Artist or crafter must be a member of the Concord Art Association.

Art must be original and of the highest quality in concept, execution, and framing.

Requirements

Minimum framed size: 12" x 12" or 11" x 14"

Maximum framed size: 20" x 20" or 16" x 20"

Maximum weight: 5 pounds

Artists are responsible for collecting 9.75% sales tax
Art & Craft Sale - Sign up by May 24​

All goods must be original art or high-quality crafts created by the seller and appropriate to the season.

3' x 6' tables, chairs, white tablecloths, and table signs included in space fee. Store extra boxes under tables out of sight or return them to your car.

Booth attendance mandatory on Saturday and Sunday.

Booth Size
Approximately 8' x 8'. NO nails, tape, glue etc. may be used on the walls. Artists may bring one six linear foot free-standing grid and one small table.

Apply by May 24 via JotForm. Pay Booth fee at link below or by check payable to Concord Art Association. Mail checks to P.O. Box 641, Concord, CA 94522-0641. Please note “Art & Craft Sale” in remarks on your check. Acceptance will be made as applications are submitted.

Space Rental Timeline
May 24 - Deadline to submit via JotForm
May 24 - Notification of acceptance
Fri., May 31 - Booth setup starts at 4pm, finishes by 6:30pm
Sat./Sun. - Doors open for sellers at 10:30am
Sun., June 2 - Clear booth space, 4 - 5pm
Notes
Bring your own helpers for booth set up and for clearing your booth on Sunday. Please have your booth ready to open promptly at 11:00am each day. Plan to keep your booth open until 4:00pm. All reasonable efforts will be taken by CAA to ensure the safety of your items, however, neither CAA nor CHS are liable for any missing or damaged items or displays. Artists are responsible for collecting 9.75% sales tax.

Reservation Rights
The Concord Art Association, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right to change the show timeline and/or to supplement, amend or otherwise modify this Call for Artists.
Spring Tea
Invite your friends to make reservations for the Concord Historical Society's Spring Tea! The sumptuous tea is served in the beautiful Galindo Home Museum. Tickets are $50 per person. Reservations close May 22. Tea times are at 11am and 2pm both days. More information here.
