Community Outreach

The Concord Art Association is a California 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports and engages local artists to collectively enrich our community through art education, exhibits, special events and outreach programs.

Founded in 1963, CAA is the oldest art association in Contra Costa County. Members are artists, art students, supporters of the arts, organizations, and residents of central and east Contra Costa County.

CAA and its members regularly collaborate with organizations and schools to ensure everyone in our community has access to art. Our outreach efforts include:

  • Free to the public to attend art shows

  • Art displays in local businesses and offices
