To start off the new year, CAA made a donation of $500 to the Concord Library. The Library generously provides its meeting room for our bi-monthly member meetings and offers its display cases for CAA exhibitions--a much-appreciated space for members to show work to the public. CAA President Pat McDermont and Treasurer Thea Jue presented the check to head librarian Kimberli Buckley earlier this month.
Notable for its large children's and teen books sections, used bookstore, and garden-friendly seed library, the library is also a bustling community hub for all ages. You can find out about its many community and educational events on the Contra Costa County library events page here.
Thank you Concord Library for all you do to support literacy and the arts! The Library is located at 2900 Salvio Street. Hours are here.
