Call for Art: "Journeys" Artist Trading Cards

There's still time to participate in the CAA Artist Trading Card (ATC) project for this fall. ATCs are 3.5" x 2.5" mini-art cards that can be made with any 2D medium (and even some 3D as long as the card fits into a standard trading-card sleeve, like for baseball trading cards). ATCs are not for sale--they're designed for trading and CAA has an ongoing exchange headed by CAA member Sheila Berman, who handles the logistics of dividing up the cards to mail to participants.

Are you fond of small art? Want to practice a new technique to exchange with CAA members? Do you like to receive mail art in the actual mail? Are you a collector who likes a good art barter? ATCs might be for you.

Make and mail four cards with the theme "Journeys" to Sheila by September 30th and in about a week you'll receive four new small artworks in the mail. Click on the ATC Exchange Call for Art page for instructions and mailing information. We hope to see your art in the mail!
