CAA Members, please check your inbox for our first Call for Artists for 2022.

• The theme is "Journeys: Exploring My Mind and the World."

• The venue is aRt Cottage in downtown Concord.

• This members-only show will run in May and June.

• Information will also be posted on the CAA website.

Three more Calls for Artists will be arriving in your inbox in February!

Concord Art Association hosts three days of special art events at the Concord Museum Event Center on May 13th, 14th, and 15th to coincide with the Concord Historical Society's Spring Tea. The three-day celebration of the "Colors of Spring" will include a Plein Air Paint Out, Fine Art Gallery Show, and an Art and Craft Sale. Call for Artists coming soon!

On January 24th, the City of Concord Parks and Recreation Department Committee approved the CAA's proposal to design and paint twenty traffic control boxes located throughout Concord. Once the proposal is supported by the full council, which is expected on February 22nd, CAA will release the Call for Artists! All boxes are to be painted in this phase, and CAA is arranging with the city a central location for the painting to be done. If you are interested in applying, start thinking of concepts that will work with the theme, "Concord Reflections!"

CAA is partnering with Visit Concord to hold another pop-up show and sale at Salvio Pacheco Square in March. Look for that Call for Artists very soon.
