Concord Art Association Awards Scholarships to DVC Art Students

CAA has awarded two $1,000 scholarships to deserving students majoring in art at Diablo Valley College. Sophia Leighton in the Art Department, and Michelle Toyama in the Art and Digital Media Department are the recipients of this year’s CAA Scholarship Program for DVC Students. Along with financial assistance, the Scholarship Program provides year-long CAA membership, invitations to participate in the CAA Online Gallery, and opportunities to show work in CAA exhibitions throughout the year.

Congratulations to Sophia and Michelle! Here are a few samples of their work.
