Concord Art Association Year-End-Party - Fun and Festive

The CAA Holiday party at Legends at Diablo Creek Sports Bar and Grill was a festive and fun-filled evening that included music, laughter, and conversation. The warm and private room was beautifully decorated and had a wall of windows overlooking the putting green. The art group and friends enjoyed a well-rounded, warm meal with various selections, which even included cookies. Yum!

After the meal, there were 13 bountiful baskets put together by our very own, Thea Jue, Pat McDermont, and Janice Davis, to be raffled off. They included movie tickets to both Brendan and Veranda Movie theaters, art supplies, gift certificates from Lo’s Playtown in Benicia, wine, popcorn, and plenty more! Even some of the wait staff purchased raffle tickets; they were that enticing.

It was a wonderful way to round out the year on a cold and foggy night with new and established friends by sharing a meal and chatting in a spacious, pleasing, and relaxing place.

Concord Art Association would like to thank the following businesses for their generous donations: Blick Art Supplies, Ruth Bancroft Gardens, Brendan Theaters, Clayton Bowl, Lo’s Playtown, Rocco’s Ristorante Pizzeria, Fiore Italian restaurant, and Veranda Theater.

And a special mention to Jenny and Esther of ARTSCCC for coming out on the long, dark day to meet up with some of our board members to touch base on promoting art within the great community of Contra Costa County.
