We’re excited to welcome Charlynn Throckmorton, a talented mixed media artist, as our guest presenter at the CAA Member Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, at the Concord Library from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Charlynn infuses each of her colorful works with a unique blend of whimsy and profound emotion. Her art playfully explores textures, colors, and forms, inviting viewers on a journey of imagination and introspection. She also teaches workshops and classes in Martinez and Benicia.
At the meeting, Charlynn will demonstrate her creative process using acrylic paint and cold wax, then guide us through a hands-on activity to create our own pieces. All materials will be provided.
Come early if you want to participate in the Mini Art Show or want to help set up. We'll open the room at 12:30 for the 1pm meeting. The Concord Library is located at 2900 Salvio Street in Concord, CA. See you there!
