Help CAA out for Art & Music Jam 2023 in Todos Santos Park

This October 14th and 15th in Todos Santos Park, Creative Concord's Art & Music Jam gives CAA members an opportunity to “paint for the public” as well as raise funds for our Teacher Grant Program. This is the second year for Art & Music Jam In the Park, sponsored by Creative Concord, and like last year's event, it will provide a unique, fun and creative experience for families and artists alike.

Around the park, 15 area artists will be painting 6-foot canvases while CAA tents showcase five members as they paint 24"x24" boards. Children who attend will be given the opportunity to paint their own masterpiece too, guided by CAA members. You can participate in three ways.

First opportunity: come to the Concord Library on September 5, from 1-3pm to help create the materials we will need for the kids project. We need helpers to prep our children's art project to give the kids a great art-making experience.

Second opportunity: you can be one of the CAA Children's Tent volunteers guiding young artists with their project. We plan to work in three-hour sessions, from 11-2pm and 2-5pm. Choose your time and day to volunteer.

Third opportunity: if you can’t volunteer you can donate to our Teacher Grant Program Fund. This year we awarded $2,000 to several worthy Concord teachers and schools for their chosen art projects. This is an annual program and a major mission of our association: to bring art to more students each year.

We appreciate all that our members do for arts education and for our art community. Come join us at this fun outdoor community-based event. Contact concordartassociation@yahoo.com to volunteer.
